36) সূরা ইয়াসীন (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 83

	بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

	ইয়া-সীন
	Yâ-Sîn. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]
	وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ	(2
	প্রজ্ঞাময় কোরআনের কসম।
	By the Qur’ân, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs),
	إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ	(3
	নিশ্চয় আপনি প্রেরিত রসূলগণের একজন।
	Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers,
	عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ	(4
	সরল পথে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
	On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allâh’s religion of Islâmic Monotheism).
	تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ	(5
	কোরআন পরাক্রমশালী পরম দয়ালু আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে অবতীর্ণ,
	(This is) a Revelation sent down by the All­Mighty, the Most Merciful,
	لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ	(6
	যাতে আপনি এমন এক জাতিকে সতর্ক করেন, যাদের পূর্ব পুরুষগণকেও সতর্ক করা হয়নি। ফলে তারা গাফেল।
	In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
	لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ	(7
	তাদের অধিকাংশের জন্যে শাস্তির বিষয় অবধারিত হয়েছে। সুতরাং তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না।
	Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe.
	إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلاَلاً فَهِيَ إِلَى الأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ	(8
	আমি তাদের গর্দানে চিবুক পর্যন্ত বেড়ী পরিয়েছি। ফলে তাদের মস্তক উর্দ্ধমুখী হয়ে গেছে।
	Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up.
	وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ	(9
	আমি তাদের সামনে ও পিছনে প্রাচীর স্থাপন করেছি, অতঃপর তাদেরকে আবৃত করে দিয়েছি, ফলে তারা দেখে না।
	And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see.
	وَسَوَاء عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ	(10
	আপনি তাদেরকে সতর্ক করুন বা না করুন, তাদের পক্ষে দুয়েই সমান; তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না।
	It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe.
	إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمَن بِالْغَيْبِ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ	(11
	আপনি কেবল তাদেরকেই সতর্ক করতে পারেন, যারা উপদেশ অনুসরণ করে এবং দয়াময় আল্লাহকে না দেখে ভয় করে। অতএব আপনি তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দিয়ে দিন ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক পুরস্কারের।
	You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Qur’ân), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allâh) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).
	إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُبِينٍ	(12
	আমিই মৃতদেরকে জীবিত করি এবং তাদের কর্ম ও কীর্তিসমূহ লিপিবদ্ধ করি। আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তু স্পষ্ট কিতাবে সংরক্ষিত রেখেছি।
	Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh’s Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book.
	وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلاً أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ	(13
	আপনি তাদের কাছে সে জনপদের অধিবাসীদের দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করুন, যখন সেখানে রসূল আগমন করেছিলেন।
	And put forward to them a similitude; the (story of the) dwellers of the town, [It is said that the town was Antioch (Antakiya)], when there came Messengers to them.
	إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ	(14
	আমি তাদের নিকট দুজন রসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম, অতঃপর ওরা তাদেরকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। তখন আমি তাদেরকে শক্তিশালী করলাম তৃতীয় একজনের মাধ্যমে। তারা সবাই বলল, আমরা তোমাদের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি।
	When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: ”Verily! We have been sent to you as Messengers.”
	قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّحْمن مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ تَكْذِبُونَ	(15
	তারা বলল, তোমরা তো আমাদের মতই মানুষ, রহমান আল্লাহ কিছুই নাযিল করেননি। তোমরা কেবল মিথ্যাই বলে যাচ্ছ।
	They (people of the town) said: ”You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Most Beneficent (Allâh) has revealed nothing, you are only telling lies.”
