| | بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| |
শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু। |
| | Ayahs: | 1-15 | 16-30 | 31-45 | 46-60 | 61-75 | 76-88 | | |
| | | |
| | ص وَالْقُرْآنِ ذِي الذِّكْرِ | (1 |
| ছোয়াদ। শপথ উপদেশপূর্ণ কোরআনের, | |
| Sād.
[These letters (Sād etc.) are one of the miracles of the Qur’ān and
none but Allāh (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Qur’ān full of
reminding. | |
| | | |
| | بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي عِزَّةٍ وَشِقَاقٍ | (2 |
| বরং যারা কাফের, তারা অহংকার ও বিরোধিতায় লিপ্ত। | |
| Nay, those who desbelieve are in false pride and opposition. | |
| | | |
| | كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ فَنَادَوْا وَلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ | (3 |
| তাদের আগে আমি কত জনগোষ্ঠীকে ধ্বংস করেছি, অতঃপর তারা আর্তনাদ করতে শুরু করেছে কিন্তু তাদের নিষ্কৃতি লাভের সময় ছিল না। | |
| How many a generation We have destroyed before them, and they cried out when there was no longer time for escape! | |
| | | |
| | وَعَجِبُوا أَن جَاءهُم مُّنذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَقَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ هَذَا سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ | (4 |
| তারা বিস্ময়বোধ করে যে, তাদেরই কাছে তাদের মধ্যে থেকে একজন সতর্ককারী আগমন করেছেন। আর কাফেররা বলে এ-তো এক মিথ্যাচারী যাদুকর। | |
| And
they (Arab pagans) wonder that a warner (Prophet Muhammad SAW) has come
to them from among themselves! And the disbelievers say: ”This (Prophet
Muhammad SAW) is a sorcerer, a liar. | |

| | أَجَعَلَ الْآلِهَةَ إِلَهًا وَاحِدًا إِنَّ هَذَا لَشَيْءٌ عُجَابٌ | (5 |
| সে কি বহু উপাস্যের পরিবর্তে এক উপাস্যের উপাসনা সাব্যস্ত করে দিয়েছে। নিশ্চয় এটা এক বিস্ময়কর ব্যাপার। | |
| ”Has he made the āliha (gods) (all) into One Ilāh (God - Allāh). Verily, this is a curious thing!” | |
| | | |
| | وَانطَلَقَ الْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ امْشُوا وَاصْبِرُوا عَلَى آلِهَتِكُمْ إِنَّ هَذَا لَشَيْءٌ يُرَادُ | (6 |
| তাদের
কতিপয় বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তি একথা বলে প্রস্থান করে যে, তোমরা চলে যাও এবং
তোমাদের উপাস্যদের পূজায় দৃঢ় থাক। নিশ্চয়ই এ বক্তব্য কোন বিশেষ উদ্দেশ্যে
প্রণোদিত। | |
| And
the leaders among them went about (saying): ”Go on, and remain constant
to your āliha (gods)! Verily, This is a thing designed (against you)! | |
| | | |
| | مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي الْمِلَّةِ الْآخِرَةِ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا اخْتِلَاقٌ | (7 |
| আমরা সাবেক ধর্মে এ ধরনের কথা শুনিনি। এটা মনগড়া ব্যাপার বৈ নয়। | |
| ”We have not heard (the like) of this among the people of these later days. This is nothing but an invention! | |
| | | |
| | أَأُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّن ذِكْرِي بَلْ لَمَّا يَذُوقُوا عَذَابِ | (8 |
| আমাদের
মধ্য থেকে শুধু কি তারই প্রতি উপদেশ বানী অবতীর্ণ হল? বস্তুতঃ ওরা আমার
উপদেশ সম্পর্কে সন্দিহান; বরং ওরা এখনও আমার মার আস্বাদন করেনি। | |
| ”Has
the Reminder been sent down to him (alone) from among us?” Nay! but
they are in doubt about My Reminder (this Qur’ān)! Nay, but they have
not tasted (My) Torment! | |
| | | |
| | أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَائِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ الْعَزِيزِ الْوَهَّابِ | (9 |
| না কি তাদের কাছে আপনার পরাক্রান্ত দয়াবান পালনকর্তার রহমতের কোন ভান্ডার রয়েছে? | |
| Or have they the treasures of the Mercy of your Lord, the All-Mighty, the Real Bestower? | |
| | | |
| | أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَلْيَرْتَقُوا فِي الْأَسْبَابِ | (10 |
| নাকি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর উপর তাদের সাম্রাজ্য রয়েছে? থাকলে তাদের আকাশে আরোহণ করা উচিত রশি ঝুলিয়ে। | |
| Or
is it that the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is
between them is theirs? If so, let them ascend up with means (to the
heavens)! | |

| | جُندٌ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌ مِّنَ الْأَحْزَابِ | (11 |
| এক্ষেত্রে বহু বাহিনীর মধ্যে ওদেরও এক বাহিনী আছে, যা পরাজিত হবে। | |
| (As they denied Allāh’s Message) they will be a defeated host like the confederates of the old times (who were defeated). | |
| | | |
| | كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو الْأَوْتَادِ | (12 |
| তাদের পূর্বেও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল নূহের সম্প্রদায়, আদ, কীলক বিশিষ্ট ফেরাউন, | |
| Before
them (were many who) belied Messengers, the people of Nūh (Noah); and
’Ad; and Fir’aun (Pharaoh) the man of stakes (with which he used to
punish the people), | |

| | وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الأَيْكَةِ أُوْلَئِكَ الْأَحْزَابُ | (13 |
| সামুদ, লূতের সম্প্রদায় ও আইকার লোকেরা। এরাই ছিল বহু বাহিনী। | |
| And Thamūd, and the people of Lout (Lot), and the dwellers of the wood; such were the confederates. | |
| | | |
| | إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ | (14 |
| এদের প্রত্যেকেই পয়গম্বরগণের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছে। ফলে আমার আযাব প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। | |
| Not one of them but belied the Messengers, therefore My Torment was justified, | |
| | | |
| | وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَؤُلَاء إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍ | (15 |
| কেবল একটি মহানাদের অপেক্ষা করছে, যাতে দম ফেলার অবকাশ থাকবে না। | |
| And
these only wait for a single Saihah [shout (i.e. the blowing of the
Trumpet by the angel Isrāfil Sarafil)] there will be no pause or ending
thereto [till everything will perish except Allāh (the only God full of
Majesty, Bounty and Honour)]. | |
