41) সূরা হা-মীম সেজদাহ (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 54

	بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

	হা-মীম।
	Hâ­Mîm. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]
	تَنزِيلٌ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ	(2
	এটা অবতীর্ণ পরম করুণাময়, দয়ালুর পক্ষ থেকে।
	A revelation from Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
	كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ	(3
	এটা কিতাব, এর আয়াতসমূহ বিশদভাবে বিবৃত আরবী কোরআনরূপে জ্ঞানী লোকদের জন্য।
	A Book whereof the Verses are explained in detail; A Qur’ân in Arabic for people who know.
	بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا فَأَعْرَضَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ	(4
	সুসংবাদদাতা ও সতর্ককারীরূপে, অতঃপর তাদের অধিকাংশই মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছে, তারা শুনে না।
	Giving glad tidings [of Paradise to the one who believes in the Oneness of Allâh (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism) and fears Allâh much (abstains from all kinds of sins and evil deeds) and loves Allâh much (performing all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], and warning (of punishment in the Hell Fire to the one who disbelieves in the Oneness of Allâh), but most of them turn away, so they listen not.
	وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِن بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ	(5
	তারা বলে আপনি যে বিষয়ের দিকে আমাদের কে দাওয়াত দেন, সে বিষয়ে আমাদের অন্তর আবরণে আবৃত, আমাদের কর্ণে আছে বোঝা এবং আমাদের ও আপনার মাঝখানে আছে অন্তরাল। অতএব, আপনি আপনার কাজ করুন এবং আমরা আমাদের কাজ করি।
	And they say: ”Our hearts are under coverings (screened) from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a screen, so work you (on your way); verily, we are working (on our way).”
	قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا إِلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُشْرِكِينَ	(6
	বলুন, আমিও তোমাদের মতই মানুষ, আমার প্রতি ওহী আসে যে, তোমাদের মাবুদ একমাত্র মাবুদ, অতএব তাঁর দিকেই সোজা হয়ে থাক এবং তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর। আর মুশরিকদের জন্যে রয়েছে দুর্ভোগ,
	Say (O Muhammad SAW): ”I am only a human being like you. It is inspired in me that your Ilâh (God) is One Ilâh (God - Allâh), therefore take Straight Path to Him (with true Faith Islâmic Monotheism) and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to Al-Mushrikûn (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheists, idolaters, etc. - see V.2:105).
	الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ	(7
	যারা যাকাত দেয় না এবং পরকালকে অস্বীকার করে।
	Those who give not the Zakât and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter.
	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ	(8
	নিশ্চয় যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অফুরন্ত পুরস্কার।
	Truly, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW) and do righteous good deeds, for them will be an endless reward that will never stop (i.e. Paradise).
	قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُ أَندَادًا ذَلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ	(9
	বলুন, তোমরা কি সে সত্তাকে অস্বীকার কর যিনি পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন দু’দিনে এবং তোমরা কি তাঁর সমকক্ষ স্থীর কর? তিনি তো সমগ্র বিশ্বের পালনকর্তা।
	Say (O Muhammad SAW): ”Do you verily disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two Days and you set up rivals (in worship) with Him? That is the Lord of the ’Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
	وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ مِن فَوْقِهَا وَبَارَكَ فِيهَا وَقَدَّرَ فِيهَا أَقْوَاتَهَا فِي أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍ سَوَاء لِّلسَّائِلِينَ	(10
	তিনি পৃথিবীতে উপরিভাগে অটল পর্বতমালা স্থাপন করেছেন, তাতে কল্যাণ নিহিত রেখেছেন এবং চার দিনের মধ্যে তাতে তার খাদ্যের ব্যবস্থা করেছেন-পূর্ণ হল জিজ্ঞাসুদের জন্যে।
	He placed therein (i.e. the earth) firm mountains from above it, and He blessed it, and measured therein its sustenance (for its dwellers) in four Days equal (i.e. all these four ’days’ were equal in the length of time), for all those who ask (about its creation).
	ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاء وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ اِئْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَ	(11
	অতঃপর তিনি আকাশের দিকে মনোযোগ দিলেন যা ছিল ধুম্রকুঞ্জ, অতঃপর তিনি তাকে ও পৃথিবীকে বললেন, তোমরা উভয়ে আস ইচ্ছায় অথবা অনিচ্ছায়। তারা বলল, আমরা স্বেচ্ছায় আসলাম।
	Then He Istawâ (rose over) towards the heaven when it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth: ”Come both of you willingly or unwillingly.” They both said: ”We come, willingly.”
	فَقَضَاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَى فِي كُلِّ سَمَاء أَمْرَهَا وَزَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَحِفْظًا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ	(12
	অতঃপর তিনি আকাশমন্ডলীকে দু’দিনে সপ্ত আকাশ করে দিলেন এবং প্রত্যেক আকাশে তার আদেশ প্রেরণ করলেন। আমি নিকটবর্তী আকাশকে প্রদীপমালা দ্বারা সুশোভিত ও সংরক্ষিত করেছি। এটা পরাক্রমশালী সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহর ব্যবস্থাপনা।
	Then He completed and finished from their creation (as) seven heavens in two Days and He made in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the nearest (lowest) heaven with lamps (stars) to be an adornment as well as to guard (from the devils by using them as missiles against the devils). Such is the Decree of Him the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.
	فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ أَنذَرْتُكُمْ صَاعِقَةً مِّثْلَ صَاعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ	(13
	অতঃপর যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে বলুন, আমি তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করলাম এক কঠোর আযাব সম্পর্কে আদ ও সামুদের আযাবের মত।
	But if they turn away, then say (O Muhammad SAW): ”I have warned you of a Sâ’iqah (a destructive awful cry, torment, hit, a thunderbolt) like the Sâ’iqah which overtook ’Ad and Thamûd (people).”
	إِذْ جَاءتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاء رَبُّنَا لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ	(14
	যখন তাদের কাছে রসূলগণ এসেছিলেন সম্মুখ দিক থেকে এবং পিছন দিক থেকে এ কথা বলতে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কারও পূজা করো না। তারা বলেছিল, আমাদের পালনকর্তা ইচ্ছা করলে অবশ্যই ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করতেন, অতএব, আমরা তোমাদের আনীত বিষয় অমান্য করলাম।
	When the Messengers came to them, from before them and behind them (saying): ”Worship none but Allâh” They said: ”If our Lord had so willed, He would surely have sent down the angels. So indeed! We disbelieve in that with which you have been sent.”
	فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ	(15
	যারা ছিল আদ, তারা পৃথিবীতে অযথা অহংকার করল এবং বলল, আমাদের অপেক্ষা অধিক শক্তিধর কে? তারা কি লক্ষ্য করেনি যে, যে আল্লাহ তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তিনি তাদের অপেক্ষা অধিক শক্তিধর ? বস্তুতঃ তারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলী অস্বীকার করত।
	As for ’Ad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: ”Who is mightier than us in strength?” See they not that Allâh, Who created them was mightier in strength than them. And they used to deny Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)!
