56) সূরা আল ওয়াক্বিয়া (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 96

	بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।
	Ayahs:   | 1-15 | 16-30 | 31-45 | 46-60 | 61-75 | 76-90 | 91-96 |
	إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ	(1
	যখন কিয়ামতের ঘটনা ঘটবে,
	When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls.
	لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ	(2
	যার বাস্তবতায় কোন সংশয় নেই।
	And there can be no denying of its befalling.
	خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌ	(3
	এটা নীচু করে দেবে, সমুন্নত করে দেবে।
	It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt;
	إِذَا رُجَّتِ الْأَرْضُ رَجًّا	(4
	যখন প্রবলভাবে প্রকম্পিত হবে পৃথিবী।
	When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake.
	وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّا	(5
	এবং পর্বতমালা ভেঙ্গে চুরমার হয়ে যাবে।
	And the mountains will be powdered to dust.
	فَكَانَتْ هَبَاء مُّنبَثًّا	(6
	অতঃপর তা হয়ে যাবে উৎক্ষিপ্ত ধূলিকণা।
	So that they will become floating dust particles.
	وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ثَلَاثَةً	(7
	এবং তোমরা তিনভাবে বিভক্ত হয়ে পড়বে।
	And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups).
	فَأَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ	(8
	যারা ডান দিকে, কত ভাগ্যবান তারা।
	So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise).
	وَأَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ	(9
	এবং যারা বামদিকে, কত হতভাগা তারা।
	And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell).
	وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَ	(10
	অগ্রবর্তীগণ তো অগ্রবর্তীই।
	And those foremost [(in Islâmic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islâm,] will be foremost (in Paradise).
	أُوْلَئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ	(11
	তারাই নৈকট্যশীল,
	These will be those nearest to Allâh.
	فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ	(12
	অবদানের উদ্যানসমূহে,
	In the Gardens of delight (Paradise).
	ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ	(13
	তারা একদল পূর্ববর্তীদের মধ্য থেকে।
	A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islâm).
	وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنَ الْآخِرِينَ	(14
	এবং অল্পসংখ্যক পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে থেকে।
	And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations).
	عَلَى سُرُرٍ مَّوْضُونَةٍ	(15
	স্বর্ণ খচিত সিংহাসন।
	(They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones,
