72) সূরা আল জিন (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 28

	بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।
	Ayahs:   | 1-15 | 16-28 |
	قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا عَجَبًا	(1
	বলুনঃ আমার প্রতি ওহী নাযিল করা হয়েছে যে, জিনদের একটি দল কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছে, অতঃপর তারা বলেছেঃ আমরা বিস্ময়কর কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছি;
	Say (O Muhammad SAW): ”It has been revealed to me that a group (from three to ten in number) of jinns listened (to this Qur’ân). They said: ’Verily! We have heard a wonderful Recital (this Qur’ân)!
	يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَآمَنَّا بِهِ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَدًا	(2
	যা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করে। ফলে আমরা তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমরা কখনও আমাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করব না।
	’It guides to the Right Path, and we have believed therein, and we shall never join (in worship) anything with our Lord (Allâh).
	وَأَنَّهُ تَعَالَى جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا	(3
	এবং আরও বিশ্বাস করি যে, আমাদের পালনকর্তার মহান মর্যাদা সবার উর্ধ্বে। তিনি কোন পত্নী গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর কোন সন্তান নেই।
	’And exalted be the Majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife, nor a son (or offspring or children).
	وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ شَطَطًا	(4
	আমাদের মধ্যে নির্বোধেরা আল্লাহ তা’আলা সম্পর্কে বাড়াবাড়ির কথাবার্তা বলত।
	’And that the foolish among us [i.e. Iblîs (Satan) or the polytheists amongst the jinns] used to utter against Allâh that which was wrong and not right.
	وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن تَقُولَ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا	(5
	অথচ আমরা মনে করতাম, মানুষ ও জিন কখনও আল্লাহ তা’আলা সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলতে পারে না।
	’And verily, we thought that men and jinns would not utter a lie against Allâh.
	وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ الْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا	(6
	অনেক মানুষ অনেক জিনের আশ্রয় নিত, ফলে তারা জিনদের আত্নম্ভরিতা বাড়িয়ে দিত।
	’And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the masculine among the jinns, but they (jinns) increased them (mankind) in sin and disbelief.
	وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا	(7
	তারা ধারণা করত, যেমন তোমরা মানবেরা ধারণা কর যে, মৃত্যুর পর আল্লাহ তা’আলা কখনও কাউকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন না।
	’And they thought as you thought, that Allâh will not send any Messenger (to mankind or jinns).
	وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاء فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا	(8
	আমরা আকাশ পর্যবেক্ষণ করছি, অতঃপর দেখতে পেয়েছি যে, কঠোর প্রহরী ও উল্কাপিন্ড দ্বারা আকাশ পরিপূর্ণ।
	’And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.
	وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَاعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ الْآنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا	(9
	আমরা আকাশের বিভিন্ন ঘাঁটিতে সংবাদ শ্রবণার্থে বসতাম। এখন কেউ সংবাদ শুনতে চাইলে সে জলন্ত উল্কাপিন্ড ওঁৎ পেতে থাকতে দেখে।
	’And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.
	وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا	(10
	আমরা জানি না পৃথিবীবাসীদের অমঙ্গল সাধন করা অভীষ্ট, না তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের মঙ্গল সাধন করার ইচ্ছা রাখেন।
	’And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path.
	وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَلِكَ كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا	(11
	আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত।
	’There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary; we are groups each having a different way (religious sect, etc.).
	وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن نُّعجِزَ اللَّهَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُ هَرَبًا	(12
	আমরা বুঝতে পেরেছি যে, আমরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে পরাস্ত করতে পারব না এবং পলায়ন করেও তাকে অপারক করত পরব না।
	’And we think that we cannot escape (from the punishment of) Allâh in the earth, nor can we escape (from the punishment) by flight.
	وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا الْهُدَى آمَنَّا بِهِ فَمَن يُؤْمِن بِرَبِّهِ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا	(13
	আমরা যখন সুপথের নির্দেশ শুনলাম, তখন তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। অতএব, যে তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে, সে লোকসান ও জোর-জবরের আশংকা করে না।
	’And indeed when we heard the Guidance (this Qur’ân), we believed therein (Islâmic Monotheism), and whosoever believes in his Lord shall have no fear, either of a decrease in the reward of his good deeds or an increase in punishment for his sins.
	وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا رَشَدًا	(14
	আমাদের কিছুসংখ্যক আজ্ঞাবহ এবং কিছুসংখ্যক অন্যায়কারী। যারা আজ্ঞাবহ হয়, তারা সৎপথ বেছে নিয়েছে।
	’And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allâh, after listening to this Qur’ân), and of us some are Al-Qâsitûn (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path)’. And whosoever has embraced Islâm (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allâh), then such have sought the Right Path.”
	وَأَمَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا	(15
	আর যারা অন্যায়কারী, তারা তো জাহান্নামের ইন্ধন।
	And as for the Qâsitûn (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell,
