83) সূরা আত-তাতফীফ (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 36

	بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।
	Ayahs:   | 1-15 | 16-30 | 31-36 |
	وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ	(1
	যারা মাপে কম করে, তাদের জন্যে দুর্ভোগ,
	Woe to Al-Mutaffifin [those who give less in measure and weight (decrease the rights of others)],
	الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُواْ عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ	(2
	যারা লোকের কাছ থেকে যখন মেপে নেয়, তখন পূর্ণ মাত্রায় নেয়
	Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure,
	وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ	(3
	এবং যখন লোকদেরকে মেপে দেয় কিংবা ওজন করে দেয়, তখন কম করে দেয়।
	And when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.
	أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُولَئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ	(4
	তারা কি চিন্তা করে না যে, তারা পুনরুত্থিত হবে।
	Think they not that they will be resurrected (for reckoning),
	لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ	(5
	সেই মহাদিবসে,
	On a Great Day,
	يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ	(6
	যেদিন মানুষ দাঁড়াবে বিশ্ব পালনকর্তার সামনে।
	The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the ’Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?
	كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٍ	(7
	এটা কিছুতেই উচিত নয়, নিশ্চয় পাপাচারীদের আমলনামা সিজ্জীনে আছে।
	Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjâr (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjîn.
	وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ	(8
	আপনি জানেন, সিজ্জীন কি?
	And what will make you know what Sijjîn is?
	كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ	(9
	এটা লিপিবদ্ধ খাতা।
	A Register inscribed.
	وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ	(10
	সেদিন দুর্ভোগ মিথ্যারোপকারীদের,
	Woe, that Day, to those who deny [(Allâh, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection, and Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments)].
	الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ	(11
	যারা প্রতিফল দিবসকে মিথ্যারোপ করে।
	Those who deny the Day of Recompense.
	وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ	(12
	প্রত্যেক সীমালংঘনকারী পাপিষ্ঠই কেবল একে মিথ্যারোপ করে।
	And none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience of Allâh, the sinner!)
	إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ	(13
	তার কাছে আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হলে সে বলে, পুরাকালের উপকথা।
	When Our Verses (of the Qur’ân) are recited to him he says: ”Tales of the ancients!”
	كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ	(14
	কখনও না, বরং তারা যা করে, তাই তাদের হৃদয় মরিচা ধরিয়ে দিয়েছে।
	Nay! But on their hearts is the Rân (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn .
	كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ	(15
	কখনও না, তারা সেদিন তাদের পালনকর্তার থেকে পর্দার অন্তরালে থাকবে।
	Nay! Surely, they (evil-doers) will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day.
