86) সূরা আত্ব-তারিক্ব (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 17

	بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।
	Ayahs:   | 1-15 | 16-17 |
	وَالسَّمَاء وَالطَّارِقِ	(1
	শপথ আকাশের এবং রাত্রিতে আগমনকারীর।
	By the heaven, and At-Târiq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star);
	وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ	(2
	আপনি জানেন, যে রাত্রিতে আসে সেটা কি?
	And what will make you to know what At-Târiq (night-comer) is?
	النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ	(3
	সেটা এক উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র।
	(It is) the star of piercing brightness;
	إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ	(4
	প্রত্যেকের উপর একজন তত্ত্বাবধায়ক রয়েছে।
	There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels incharge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds, etc.)
	فَلْيَنظُرِ الْإِنسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ	(5
	অতএব, মানুষের দেখা উচিত কি বস্তু থেকে সে সৃজিত হয়েছে।
	So let man see from what he is created!
	خُلِقَ مِن مَّاء دَافِقٍ	(6
	সে সৃজিত হয়েছে সবেগে স্খলিত পানি থেকে।
	He is created from a water gushing forth
	يَخْرُجُ مِن بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ	(7
	এটা নির্গত হয় মেরুদন্ড ও বক্ষপাজরের মধ্য থেকে।
	Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs,
	إِنَّهُ عَلَى رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ	(8
	নিশ্চয় তিনি তাকে ফিরিয়ে নিতে সক্ষম।
	Verily, (Allâh) is Able to bring him back (to life)!
	يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ	(9
	যেদিন গোপন বিষয়াদি পরীক্ষিত হবে,
	The Day when all the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth).
	فَمَا لَهُ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ	(10
	সেদিন তার কোন শক্তি থাকবে না এবং সাহায্যকারীও থাকবে না।
	Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper.
	وَالسَّمَاء ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ	(11
	শপথ চক্রশীল আকাশের
	By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again.
	وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ	(12
	এবং বিদারনশীল পৃথিবীর
	And the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants),
	إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ	(13
	নিশ্চয় কোরআন সত্য-মিথ্যার ফয়সালা।
	Verily! This (the Qur’ân) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil).
	وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ	(14
	এবং এটা উপহাস নয়।
	And it is not a thing for amusement.
	إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا	(15
	তারা ভীষণ চক্রান্ত করে,
	Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)).
