97) সূরা কদর (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 5

	بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।
	Ayahs:   | 1-5 |
	إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ	(1
	আমি একে নাযিল করেছি শবে-কদরে।
	Verily! We have sent it (this Qur’ân) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)
	وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ	(2
	শবে-কদর সমন্ধে আপনি কি জানেন?
	And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is?
	لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ	(3
	শবে-কদর হল এক হাজার মাস অপেক্ষা শ্রেষ্ঠ।
	The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allâh in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).
	تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ	(4
	এতে প্রত্যেক কাজের জন্যে ফেরেশতাগণ ও রূহ অবতীর্ণ হয় তাদের পালনকর্তার নির্দেশক্রমে।
	Therein descend the angels and the Rûh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allâh’s Permission with all Decrees,
	سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ	(5
	এটা নিরাপত্তা, যা ফজরের উদয় পর্যন্ত অব্যাহত থাকে।
	Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allâh to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.
